Paris Hilton to have a Pig as her New Pet

Socialite heiress Paris Hilton is set to become the owner of a pig she has ordered from a breeder in Oregon.

The hotel heiress is known for her love of miniature dogs and is always pictured with her favourite pet Tinkerbell.

But the pups will have to make way for a new addition to the family as Hilton has placed an order for a $4,500 Royal Dandie pig, who will be delivered by hand next month, reported contactmusic.com.

"Paris is thrilled! She is a major animal lover and is excited for the arrival of her new piglet," said Hilton's spokesperson.

Madonna, Her Second Campaign for Louis Vuitton

Madonna is reportedly to star in Louis Vuitton's Autumn/Winter 09 advertising campaign.

The 50-year-old singer - who starred in the French fashion label's spring adverts earlier this year - is said to be teaming up with photographer Steven Meisel later this month.

Fashion website Karen Kooper wrote on social networking website Twitter: "Madonna does Louis Vuitton Fall Winter 2009 campaign. By Steven Meisel again."

Steven shot the last se of pictures featuring Madonna after taking over from Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, who had worked on Louis Vuitton campaigns for six years.

The pictures showed a scantily-clad Madonna in a series of raunchy poses, including one where she was reclining on a sofa with a bag dangling from her stiletto heel and several where she wore fishnet tights.

She’s never in one place for very long, and earlier today Paris Hilton was spotted across the world in Tokyo, Japan at the opening ceremony for Bliss Boutique Omotesando Hills.

The “Stars are Blind” songstress looked graceful as she greeted her Japanese fans and the press, sporting a black and red plunging neckline kimono-inspired dress and her fun flirty short hairdo.

Afterwards, it was off to the Ritz-Carlton for an afterparty, with Paris changing into a less revealing all—black ensemble as she mingled with guests including Tsuyoshi Shinjo and Guido Damiani.

Meanwhile, in related news, it sounds like Miss Hilton may be going for round 2 in the BFF department, as FOX Pop Tarts is reporting that the heiress is on the lookout for yet another gal pal.

According to Tarts, a casting call has just gone out to contestants “over 21 and appear under 30” to sign up for a chance at “social stardom.”

Though, it seems odd that Paris would be looking for another BFF, as she’s supposedly tired of current BFF Brittany Flickinger. A source told Tarts, “Brittany is obsessed with Paris but she’s so over it. She’s not used to having someone follow her around so much.”

And the Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture Drama goes to … Anne Hathaway for "Rachel Getting Married!"

Oh, darn! We weren't supposed to know that yet!

In an apparent gaffe that may or may not reveal the real winner in that category, the Golden Globes Web site prematurely posted a gold star next to Hathaway's name – the symbol used to indicate winners in each category.

The Globes staff blamed the star on a tech team goof in a statement posted online Friday afternoon.

"In the process of preparing for Sunday's Golden Globe Awards, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association Web team inadvertently marked a nominee as a winner. The mistake was immediately corrected," the statement said.

So they neither confirm, not deny that Hathaway is the winner.

The star was removed, but not before gossip bloggers, including Perez Hilton, had a chance to post screen shots of the mistake. [See here.]

The competing nominees in that category are Angelina Jolie ("The Changeling"), Meryl Streep ("Doubt"), Kristen Scott Thomas ("I've Loved You So Long"), and Kate Winslet ("Revolutionary Road").

Hathaway and Streep shared the award for Best Actress at Thursday night's VH1 Critics Choice Awards.

So will Hathaway take the Golden Globe too?

Who knows, but let's hope the judges don't hold "Bride Wars" against her.

It's 2005 all over again in the January issue of GQ magazine.

Not only does Jennifer Aniston appear topless on the cover - just like she did three years ago - but the actress is still talking about her divorce from Brad Pitt that same year.

Aniston, who turns 40 on Feb. 11, poses coyly on the cover with only a patriotic tie covering her lady bits. In her interview, she jokes that maybe she and Brangelina are all secretly best buddies.

Angelina Jolie Tops Actress Salary List

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Oscar-winner Angelina Jolie has proven again how handsomely it pays to combine gun-wielding action with serious roles, as she topped The Hollywood Reporter's list of highest-earning actresses on Friday.

But salaries are plummeting for top actresses and still lag the earnings of leading men, the trade paper said.

Jolie, 33, earned $15 million for the action movie "Wanted" this year and she could make $20 million to star in a possible sequel, it said.

Jolie played dramatic roles in 2007's "A Mighty Heart" and in this year's "Changeling." The mother of six and partner of actor Brad Pitt last month talked about eventually fading away from acting to spend more time with her family.

Oscar winner Julia Roberts, 41, claimed the No. 2 spot after a long absence from the screen, making more than $15 million for "Duplicity," which comes out next year.

Actors are also earning less, with the exception of Will Smith, star of blockbusters "Hancock" and "I Am Legend," who is riding high with up to $25 million per movie.

"Everyone else's prices have gone down," an unidentified talent agent told The Hollywood Reporter.

Reese Witherspoon, 32, who topped the female list last year after winning an Oscar for her role in the 2005 movie "Walk the Line," dropped to No. 3. She earned $14 million for appearing in the comedy hit "Four Christmases" that opened last week.

Cameron Diaz, Katherine Heigl, Kate Hudson, Anne Hathaway and Jennifer Aniston rounded out the list, with 39-year-old "Friends" star Aniston earning more than $8 million for the comedy "Marley & Me" opening on Christmas Day.

Big stars such as Halle Berry and Nicole Kidman -- both Oscar winners -- are no longer able to earn $10 million a movie.

Compare that with Pitt and Johnny Depp, who according to The Hollywood Reporter make between $15 million and $20 million per film.

Rihanna has a foot fetish of sorts.

"I love buying stuff — bags and shoes. I love shoes. I love fashion," the singer says with a sigh.

So her new collaboration with Gucci is a deal made in sartorial heaven. She's the face of the luxe Italian brand's Tattoo Heart accessory collection. Twenty-five percent of sales from the line will be donated to UNICEF.

The collection, on sale through Jan. 31, was kicked off with a glitzy launch party at Gucci's flagship store Wednesday night. During a joint interview at the Plaza Hotel before the bash, Gucci creative director Frida Giannini said selecting the chart-topping and fashion-forward songstress to front the do-gooder line was a no-brainer.

"She represents the perfect Gucci woman. She's so talented, she's so fresh, she's so beautiful," Giannini says. "She's putting her face, as a celebrity, to a very right cause that's dear to all of us.
